Product, design & code.

I turn ideas into working products in days.

I work with teams on the messy stage before everyone knows what the answer is. Give me an idea, product problem or early hypothesis and I’ll design and build something real enough to put in front of people and learn from.

Engagements

Focused product sprint

Bring me a product idea, new feature or difficult flow. I’ll take it from rough problem through product thinking, UX and working software.

2–5 daysProduct, design & frontend by meNo handoffs
  • Exploring a new product or feature
  • Turning an early hypothesis into a working product
  • Rapid product experiments
  • Rescuing or rethinking a product flow
  • Building something real enough to test with customers

Product experience review

A focused review for software that works but isn’t good enough yet. I use the product deeply, identify where the experience breaks down, and return concrete recommendations and, where useful, working improvements.

Founders

Making an idea or hypothesis real enough to test, without building a team around it first.

Product teams

Exploring new products and features, or fixing workflows that aren't working well enough.

Engineering teams

Bridging product, UX and implementation, either building directly or working alongside your frontend engineers.

Innovation & AI teams

Rapidly prototyping and testing new ideas to understand what's actually possible before making a larger investment.

About

I work across product, design and code. I take ideas, product problems and early hypotheses and turn them into working software quickly enough to put in front of people and learn from.

I’ve spent 15+ years building products inside startups and enterprise software in San Francisco, New York and London.

I started at Assemblage, building the UX for early online collaboration products. Cisco acquired the company in 2014, and I went on to co-found Cisco Collaboration’s innovation lab. There I led TeamTV, an internal video platform for distributed teams, and built the first interface for Monica, Cisco’s early AI assistant for Spark and Webex.

In 2018 I left to found and run a venture-backed meeting intelligence startup. We raised close to $800K, built a small team, and shipped Touchbase, used by more than 4,000 teams during the pandemic, and Nemo AI, a meeting analysis system trained on thousands of hours of recorded conversations.

More recently I’ve worked directly with startup and enterprise product and engineering teams, including an extended engagement with Harness, where I was brought in to help unblock a major refresh of its Code Repository product.

What I enjoy most is the messy stage before everyone knows what the answer is: understanding a problem, deciding what might work, making it real, and getting it in front of people.

AI has changed the speed at which I can do that. Because I work across product thinking, UX and frontend engineering myself, I can now take something from rough idea to a polished working product in days rather than passing it between disciplines for weeks.

I take on focused product sprints, typically a few days to a week. That might mean exploring a new product or feature, rescuing a product flow that isn’t working, or making an idea tangible enough to test with customers.

I still design and build everything myself. No handoffs, and no team between the problem and the implementation. My current build stack usually includes Next.js, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Supabase/Postgres, Railway and Vercel, accelerated with Claude and Codex. I’ve been playing with MCP and Claude Hooks a lot recently.

If you have an idea you’re not sure is worth building yet, or something that needs to become real quickly, I’d like to hear about it.
